Mr. Shabbir Hussain arrived in Dubai in 1984 with a strong work ethic, a sewing machine, and the goal of building a sustainable livelihood. Starting with small upholstery and repair jobs for boats and vehicles, he gradually built a reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service.
In 1987, he formally established Obaid Rashid Services, focusing on made-to-measure tarpaulin, fabric, and foam-based solutions. Over the years, the business evolved from basic repairs to delivering custom covers, shades, and upholstery for marine companies, hotels, schools, and industrial clients across Dubai.
Today, we are proud to continue his legacy as a family-run business rooted in craftsmanship, consistency, and client-focused solutions — all handled in-house with full control over quality and timelines.
